What is Web Design?
There is much talk about Web design in my blog, but ... what is the definition of Web Design ?
Activity that involves planning, designing and implementing websites and web pages . Not simply aapplication of conventional design on the Internet as it requires to take into account issues such as navigability, interactivity, usability, information architecture and interaction of media such as audio, text, image and video.
This can be achieved in various ways:
Creating HTML directly to a flat text processor, as the same notebook for Windows .
Using a WYSIWYG program page creation as Adobe GoLive, Macromedia Dreamweaver, NVU or Microsoft Frontpage.
Using programming languages on the server side as ASP.NET, JSP, PHP, Perl, etc. to generate web page
Using a CMS which separates the content and design that allows the designer to generate only the templates, so that the content is managed in a separate area.
